Smart Haul TMS / How it works

Five business days from first call to first dispatched load.

Migrations fail when they're a weekend project nobody owns. Ours is a fixed sequence with a named person on our side — and your old system stays readable for thirty days after go-live.

Live in five business days.

Migrations fail when they're a weekend project nobody owns. Ours is a fixed sequence with a named person on our side, and your old system stays readable for thirty days after go-live.

  1. Day 0

    Walk your board

Thirty minutes on a screen share: how you book, who bills, what your fee structure looks like, what breaks today.

  2. Days 1–2

    Move your data

Carriers, drivers, equipment, brokers, rates and open loads imported from your current TMS or your spreadsheets. We do it, not you.

  3. Days 3–4

    Wire the connections

QuickBooks connected, fee percentages set, invoice templates matched to what your brokers already accept, numbers ported or issued.

  4. Day 5

    Dispatch on it

Ninety-minute training for the team, then your first live loads. Old system read-only for thirty days as a safety net.

Questions

The things people ask on the first call.

Is this a subscription or a custom build?

A subscription. Smart Haul TMS is one product, maintained and updated for everyone on it — you get the new modules as they ship, at the price you signed up at. If you need something that only your operation needs, we quote it as a flat-fee customisation on top; we don't restart the meter.

Do you charge per user, per load or per truck?

Per fleet. The plan sets how many power units you run; users, loads, documents, invoices and portal logins are unlimited on every plan. Put your night dispatcher, your bookkeeper and your safety person on it — the price doesn't move.

What happens to my data if I leave?

It's yours. Full CSV export of every table plus your document archive, on request, any time — during the subscription or on the way out. No exit fee, no hostage period, no "contact your account manager" runaround.

Can I keep my phone numbers?

Yes. Existing numbers port in — typically three to seven business days — or we issue new ones in whatever area codes you want. Recording, voicemail-to-text and SMS work on either.

I'm a carrier, not a dispatch agency. Is half of this dead weight?

No. The percentage-billing and carrier-management modules simply stay switched off, and the Fleet plan is priced without them. You run loads, settlements, IFTA, safety and maintenance; the agency features are there the day you start dispatching for someone else.

Does it replace my ELD?

No, and it shouldn't — your ELD is a compliance device. Smart Haul reads from it where the provider allows, and covers everything the ELD doesn't: booking, billing, documents, pay and the phones.

How long is the contract?

Month to month. Annual billing saves 17% and is optional. Cancel with thirty days' notice and take your data with you.

Can we run it under our own brand?

On the Dispatch Agency plan, yes — your logo, your colours, your domain on the carrier portal and driver app, so the carriers you dispatch for see your company, not ours.

Next step

Bring one messy week and we'll run it on the board.

Twenty minutes, your real loads, your real fee structure. If it doesn't obviously beat what you're doing now, we'll say so and you've lost twenty minutes.
